Can you elaborate?  What specifics do you know, and how?  I am a local Missourian and know many players sponsored by Gateway.  It doesn't seem that Dave dropped all of his sponsorships.  If that were the case, I'd bet money many of us--especially those of us in the heart of Gateway territory--would have heard a lot more about it before now.  That is, unless some sort of 'gag order' was also issued...

I am sorry, I never should have posted that comment given that I would not be willing to follow it up with a statement of facts and sources. That was silly of me. I also should not have used the word "any;" I should have said "some." I know of some who were also dropped around the same time.

Thanks for clarifying.  Sounds like you have some solid info and it definitely fits the narrative.  If that's really the line of thinking Dave was on, I wouldn't be surprised to hear that some of my buddies were--or will soon be--dropped as well.  Bummer.  I can't imagine it would ever be good to lose such needed support, but hopefully they'll share some of Nikko's luck (and skill!) and make their next step a BIG one in an even better direction!

Happy for Nikko !!!  Hope everything works out for him !!!

He started off this weekend with a big W in Las Vegas.

I was there sat and he threw as expected of someone of his level.. was really a blast to watch

No one has mentioned whether it's an exclusive sponsorship. Maybe he will continue to throw a buzz and gateway putters. I  know I sure would.

Innova only gives exclusive sponsorships, their players are only allowed to throw discs made by Innova, Discmania and Millenium. If they let Nikko carry a mixed bag they will have to let every team member do the same, this would take away from the companies sales.

nice thanx

aw man what putters am I gonna use now??? I only throw Wizards because Nikko does

Lol..... time to drink the kool aid ;-)

stick with gateway putters, they are prime
