The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
Permalink Reply by Socsavvy on February 27, 2012 at 11:53pm Apparently there are some (somewhat controversial) theories out there. Not sure how accurate their musings are, but it is definitely relevant to this conversation and along the lines of what Justin said earlier in the thread about Innova molding a disc to fit Nikko's Wizard needs.

Permalink Reply by jr mccoy on February 28, 2012 at 9:40am I just know that for me i use innova but mostly gateway. Gateway has awesome products.
SICKDISC.com would like to sponsor Nikko's hair as long as he doesn't cut it.

Permalink Reply by Jeff Nichols on February 28, 2012 at 1:06pm So not to jump back 2 pages, but Nikko was Cut from Gateway, or Left Gateway? Also, isn't the guy that owns/runs Gateway related to Nikko? Nikko's uncle, or something? I SWEAR I have read that Somewhere..... Sorry if I am Mistaken.
Permalink Reply by Socsavvy on February 28, 2012 at 9:31pm I'll try to summarize for Jeff and others. There doesn't seem to be any evidence either way about how or why Nikko's sponsorship at Gateway ended. Justin did say he knows of others who lost sponsorships with Gateway--purportedly because Dave McCormack wasn't getting an adequate Return On Investment. And yes, Dave is indeed Nikko's uncle. How this change is affecting them--past, present or future--remains unknown.
For those who have a greater interest in the topic, there's a longer and occasionally more detailed conversation about the issue going on over at DGCourseReview:
That whole ROI thing is coming up over there, too. I don't even post on that forum. Weird. :)
Why does it has to be a Destroyer ? How a Dragon or a ROC ? He will has to do some adjusting, to fine the one disc that works.
