Nor Cal-Oregon-Washington-B.C. trip, what courses to play?

Hey all,
I am planning a trip this summer and need some direction for some great disc golf. I plan on flying either to San Francisco or Sacramento (I am from New Mexico), renting a car and driving up the coast to eventually end up in Vancouver. I was just curious on some can't miss courses along the way! Thanks!

Two courses that I know you will want to hit in Oregon are Whistler's Bend (close to Roseburg) and then Dexter (it's at the Dexter Reservoir, off of Highway 58, about 25mins east of Eugene).

I have to Agree with Ryan on the two he listed.

Whistler's Bend and Dexter are must play courses along the I5 corridor. I would add one other possible course along the way, Waterloo DGC in Waterloo Oregon (about 20 minutes off I5) It's a newer course so still slightly rough but man, it's got a great verity of holes from long bomb holes to tight woods. It even makes good use of terrain which seems a rare thing lately...

Tahoe is a must visit. Plus it has multiple courses worthy of your time (Bijou, Zephyr, Truckee etc)! Right up the hill from Sactown. I would also consider GrassValley/Penn Valley course while you are in the vicinity.

Milo - Home of the National Tour - Beaver State Fling... Beautiful 27 hole course that will make you work on every hole.
Pier Park...north Portland
Dabney State Park...off exit 17 on I-84...just leaving Portland going down the Gorge.

All the of the course mentioned are can't miss. The problem is. If you are driving up the coast to B.C. You would have to travel inland on to Hwy 5, but there are plenty of conector roads between Hwy 101 and 5. So if you are coming from San Francisco. You have to play Golden Gate Park in S.F. As you head out of the city. There is Stafford Lake in Novato. Some people say this course is better than or equal to De Lavega in Santa Cruz. Further up in Lake Co. there are three courses near Clear Lake (Steady Ed's neck of the woods) Willit CA has a cool course at the KOA campground. Also a nice clean place to stay. Ther are some sick courses in Arcata CA (Humbolt Co.) , but can't remember the names (short term memory loss). As you head into Oregon you can cut up to Hwy 5 to Roseburg and Eugene, but wait till you get to Coos Bay. Because Hwy 5 can be closed due to snow beteen CA and Ashland/Grants Pass, OR area. Dexter and Whistler are a must. Washington state. Oh my god a ton of courses. Stelicom has several courses in it. there is Sea-Tac near the airport. Riverside in Pyallup. Thats about it for me. Hope it help you.

One other thing. Google Oregon disc golf. A few sites have a more updated course list than the PDGA.
