NPR's story on the Vibram Open

Good story, fun to cycle through the photos of the Vibram Open on www.onlyagame.org while listening.  As to be expected, the sport is presented as something a bit strange and obscure, worthy of a "wacky sports" tag.

Regardless, they do a nice job of explaining how the sport works, interviewing players, and offering some publicity to the sport we all know and love.  It's great to see the sport getting more (any) publicity!  Maybe in a few years, I won't have to explain why I have 25 frisbees in the back of my car.

Agreed. What a great segment! Disc golf and public radio are two of my favorite things. I hope this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship...
