one good thing about snow?

I know that I would much rather play in good weather However I played in the snow that we were fortunate enough to get the other day and I had fun tracking the shots in the snow. Finding where the disc hit etc etc. I would have to say that it is the one good thing about it. Does anyone else have any thing good to say about snow? boooo winter!

The snow can be good for a few reasons. It keeps the course from being crowded. It makes me appreciate when there isn't snow. Best of all, it causes my friend to fall down on the hill on #3(cass benton) and drop one of his beers, then fall two more times trying to retrieve said beer.

No people on the course is the number one thing for me. I enjoy going out to the course and not seeing 100 other people playing. If we could get more courses in the Lansing area it would not be so crowded. Nothing like having to course all to yourself on a sunny day.

Why I love the snow:
- snow days- I pray for them.
- being the first one to tromp my way through the course after a fresh snowfall
- no casuals
- all the warm winter gear I get to wear
- the joy of going on a vacation during the winter

Don't get me wrong... hopefully next year at this time I will be living far away from this miserable weather. I can enjoy the snow when I come home for Xmas break.
