What do you suggest that will start pretty good out of the box and then as it beats become your goto roller disc?

to me an XL as an "out of the box roller" would have to be mid to lower 160's....heavier weights once they beat in some make excellent rollers.

Just about any brand new Stingray, Roadrunner, Sidewinder regardless of weight or plastic...qualify for instant rollers...just add throw!!

Remember it's all relative to your ability.
Yeah. I think that the angle is what i am messing up because I have the disc.
I like the Discraft Flash, Which way it rolls all depends on how hard you throw. I throw LHFH so if I put alot on it it will go right, put less on it and it goes left.
I like the XL for rollers along with the Monarch. They both roll great out of the box, I bought these discs for this reason and they are breaking slow, Z and Champion plastics.
avenger ss or a glide. both really nice!
I find a wolf and leopard are good out of the box for backhand, but I like to use stable plastic for a forehand roller....firebird and flick.
Avenger SS, stratus, spectra, NUKE, F.R. Buzzz
XL's in z plastic are stable. I can roll it but a DGA Rogue is awesome for BH rollers
I use stingrays as roller-only discs. My current one has only one scrug on the bottom, from hitting a boulder as it rolled by.
