I noticed that all my disc have the same patent numbers on them.  I assume that this is just for flying discs.  Does anyone know if the molds themselves have different patent numbers?  Can anyone eloborate on this subject at all?

The patent covers the design, mold, and disc. Its all the byproduct of the idea, which is what patent covers.
The patent is for the beveled edge design which Innova patented many years ago.  The 20 year limit expired however and now we're seeing the explosion in disc makers as they no longer have to pay royalties to Innova.
This is how I understand it also.
