while i don't want more course to "well-groomed" i do like  it maintained... so i guess there could be a place for this. i will pay

I like a course without trash , mowed lawns , no graffiti. No Broken Glass. No Picknicer's on the Hole , Joggers , Moutain Bikers etc.

As long as it's resonable , it pays for Course Maintanance............Other wise you need a Army of Volunteers to pay for Broken Tee Signs , Broken Baskets and other Vandalism.

THEY SHOULD HAVE A COURSE THAT PAYS YOU TO PLAY IT. You know, like a promotional thing

I have written the Wisp Resort with the 15.00 per round charge to see if they would consider a season pass or some other discount. Hopefully they will see the wisdom in lowering their costs and getting more frequent customers than keeping them so high and lowering the number of visitors. They have other things like food and beverage that they could make money off of than charging so high for dg.

So, I played Wisp recently. The course is beautiful, but very hard to play. A number of the "tee pads" (which are all natural) are on steep angles...I thought I was going to blow out a knee. And, a number of the holes were very risky, very narrow...just, overall, not a very enjoyable experience for 15.00. C -

I played Shawnee State Park recently...free to play, except for the gas for an hour drive from my house. Only 9 holes....really liked the rubber tee pads, but the holes are in a very populated part of the park...I spent more time worrying that I was going to hit someone as people were camped out pretty close to the baskets. C

I drove out to Paw Paw last weekend...no one was home, the course was not mowed...could not play...no grade...

I will keep trying to find a good course to play until someone builds me in one in this town...or, I am moving...

Why wait for some one else to do it?

Yes. Private is best.
