photo section used properly?

Is the photo section for submiting your best pics or a used as an advertising platform to sell discs from your personal buisness? What do you folks out there think is the proper etiquite to use?

i think the proper etiquette would be to put photos in the photo section. whether it's inventory or pictures of holes, as long as it's disc golf related, any photo is fine.

Hahaha....yeah, photos section is kind of a toilet for everything isn't it. It looks like thats what everyone has chosen it to be by default, so I don't use it with any expectaions thats for sure.

When dps first started with discgolfersrus, was a sponsor of the web site and everything...

Noticed right away that there was not any restrictions or rules as far as posting of photos. Found this to be annoying since dps was sponsoring...

(Yes I too have posted a few items for sale there).

But did you ever notice how much "Disc-o-golf" (Clearwater Disc Golf posts every disc in the store?)

How about Donny Olow on every disc he purchases?

Until guides or rules are determined it's going to be "open season" on what photos are posted.

Or if everyone passes on their opinion to Terry Calhoun, what will change?

Use your democratic society and create a post asking for votes of the change you'd like to see....
