The receive a dnf
Only the round you played is counted for PDGA rating the round you missed doesn't hurt your overall rating but you receive a DNF so you don't get points for the tournament.
So the player is neither penalized nor rewarded points? (their rating will not be affected at all?)
They will only get credit for the full rounds they played. The penalty is not getting points and losing their entry fee, ace fund, etc.
And that's why asswipes quit on the last hole, so their rating doesn't suffer. WAAAAAAH!
999 round score
All completed rounds get rated regardless whether player plays all rounds and DNFs.
