Public Parks ---Restrictions on Club Tournaments Question?

Doing a litle informal survey. Looking to see what is happening in other parts of the country.

At your local public disc golf course(s) ---- does the city/county/park/etc have any restrictions on the local club to run leagues/doubles/handicap/mini tournaments/bag tag events/etc. ?

Thanks,

Nope. Really only sanctioned events we have to contact the park officals.
Depends on the number of participants here. Then permit and insurance are required for sanctioned events or large charity events.
Just last year the parks dept in BOISE IDAHO seemed to do everything they could to get a buck out of us, I mean c'mon its a park and a game. But we have to provide insurance, park fees , cant play for $$$ and more O YEA BOISE ACTUALLY ONLY HAS ONE COURSE TOO. So in short the parks dept is trying to push us out. The smaller neighboring towns have three to four courses in each. GO FIGURE.
We have Rain and snow sanctions, if it is raining or snowing all events are canceled, per the city.
That would suck
Different Strokes for Different Folks!!! Your going to need to take a look at your own city ordinances to see what is and what isn't allowed in your parks.

Here's a great Discussion by our founder and chief....it definitely applies to this....
