The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

My favorite driver went into a thorn bush with 2 inch thorns on it about 50 feet off the tee last week and it now has a tiny hole through the outer rim. I believe this disc is no longer legal for tournament play and I'm not planning on using it for league either but I was just wondering what other thoughts on this are?

I would suggest the heat method as well for a repair. If that works you can always keep it around for a backup for your new disc.
Double bubble, toil and trouble.
Thanks to everyone who replied. There were some great suggestions. I especially liked the one about throwing it on a roof in remembrance of a fallen disc golfer. I think my wife is finally going to start playing so I am going to give it to her. It is a beat in 162 gram R pro boss. It is one of four discs that I have that I can turn over with ease so I think it will be good for her to start with.
