What exactly do you mean by the "Feldberg" putt?? Jumper? Spin? Push?
Sorry wasn't clear, push putt. I, like a lot of newbies putt with snap and spin. He taught me his standard push putt that i wasn't sure how to do.
Hmmm...Well, I'm not sure if it's the proper way to push putt, but here goes..I find I can push putt from about 20 to 25' in, after that I will knowingly add spin by "snapping" my wrist. When I push putt. I try to start at the shoulder then to the elbow. So therefore, at the start, my elbow is ahead of my wrist. I guess I try and visualize a whip and my wrist is the end of it. Now for me spin and snap (not sure if I would consider it a snap) do happen, but it is due to the enertia and speed combined with the stopping motion of my arm and wrist and not a purposeful intent.
The thing I always noticed when some one new tried this. Is that they did not have enough arm speed to generate enough spin and it would just wobble all the way towards the basket.
exactly! When i first started trying i would throw ugly wobblers that dove to the ground. Dave helped me get my weight transferred and shoulder pop into it. Also the grip with nose up is very important. I'm still learning it but i've definitely improved. I get what you're saying about snap and i guess i should say i normally putt with spin and elbow and wrist movement. this causes me to be very inconsistent. We'll see how my improvement goes with the new style. thanks for the reply!
I'd use the kc pro aviar if it were my hands... Just try them all and whatever fits you best you should throw.
I am new to the sport and I putt this way (when close enough) and I use a KC Pro Aviar.
It seems to work better than my champion aviar (probably too light)
Scott Stokely has a video where he talks about a push putt, don't know if it's the same style as Feldbergs.
I have push putted since I started playing the game in 1999--and have used a lot of different putters. My putts wobble and decend into the chains, rather than hit them on a straight line--it works for me but not for everybody.

I carry everything from a 11x KC Pro Aviar, DX XD, Soft Wizard, Soft Magic, and an old DX Roc (which works surprisingly well these days). But my favorite putter of all time is a first run Omega Supersoft by Millennium--next would be a Champion XD (virtually non-existent these days), then a Wizard SS--but I have heard that the Crossfire by Quest is wonderful for push putts--but as Rescue noted, this type of form is only really consistent from within 30 feet--beyond that you need a different technique.

What works for folks is all based on the player--what it feels like in your hand and how confident you feel with it--to that point, if a mid range disc gives you the most confidence, use it!
If you adopted Feldberg's putting technique you should use whatever putter he uses.
