I like to take one of each with me. The soft I'll use if there a lot of rocks around (such as on a river bank or rock face) so it doesn't riccochet too far away or into the river.I first tried a blowfly but it had a tendancy to get on edge and roll away(if on a slope). Also, the soft ones I don't throw too hard as they have a habit of flexing out when hitting the pole.
I use the Blunt Gumbputt, mushy!
I use primarily a soft challenger some times a pro d challenger. the soft ones just feel better in my hand and with my style of throw the hard ones don't grab as nice
I know, wierd, but I putt wiht a flx XL. DOnt know why, but I do.
that is weird but if it works do it

DX Aviar... Fairly soft... tried the soft Magnet Like it but I went back to the Aviar.
I do carry a DX aviar but mostly only use it for upshots.
Omega supersoft, two versions in the bag- one stiffer newer one for upshots and longer putts or around obstacles, the ridiculously soft one for regular straight-in putts.

I had used the ridiculous soft one for all putts but the material could not handle hitting rocks or trees without taking big chunks out of the rim.
SS warlock for shorter putts. its a little soft because it is pretty beat in now but its also a 179 so it has held its shape better than most. wizards in proto or E plastic for longer shots because they are lighter. wizard proto new is in between soft and supersoft. broken-in is kinda like a new supersoft.
Its whatever feels and works the best for you. If a putter feels good and releases good stick with it until you become one with the plastic, Young Grasshopper.
I use fairly stiff Pro D Challengers. They give me a cleaner release than softer putters.
stiff, i use Z Magnets and CryZtal Challenger, i do carry a Soft Magnet though to use when its raining or icey.
