That's a Golden State Classic right there. Haven't been to La Mirada in ages.
Well my main style changed a few times, so I guess somewhere in the first year and a half I had the putt I do now. But I try to work on a number of other styles as sometimes you need one more then another, to get over or around, maybe even through something.
That is indeed La Mirada, my home course. It is Hole# 14 on the Lakeside course. A tough little 375' uphill that has trees blocking the straight shot and a hill and building blocking the hyzer line, forget about the anny route. Then you get this uneven putt to a pin on the side of the hill.
It took a couple of years for me. I started doing what I thought was good for me when I was a complete noob. Then I started watching videos and reading and I tried the loft putt that Feldy and Climo so highly tout. I found that it didn't seem to work for me as well, so I changed to a spin putt style that has done well for me.
