Regional Tour Events - Points

Several of us (local TDs) were discussing the idea of doing a regional tour next year. I went to thinking of how do you score such things. 

My question is how to do it?  Yes, we would divide by division.

Some thoughts: I want everyone to earn points for every event they attend. Attending events counts for as much (or more) then doing well. So in theory if an average player attends all the tour events, they would beat someone who played 4 of 10 events and wins all three. 

I am not worried about complicated formulas.

My basic idea i have is: 

Base score: the percent difference between top player (this is top overall player) and your score. 

Top player = 80throws = 100% = 100 points

2nd player = 90throws =  96.666% = 96.67 points

3rd player = 100 throws = 80% = 80.0 points

Then add in strokes +1 point for par (3 strokes), +2 for a bird (2 strokes), +50 for an ace. The idea here is that the pros will be separated from ams. 

Then add in +30 for winning ace pool (non-ace), +10 for CTB if done. This is for more fun.

Also PDGA sanctioned events would be double points, state tourney triple points. 

Then add in +20 for showing up, help benefit those who show up all the time. 

Then add in 1 point for each position of overall rank on the event. So if 40 people show up the top overall score earns 40 points all the way down to dead last. (again mostly to separate the pro score from the Ams and also reward better players. 

Then add in on top of all this . . . a bag tag contest for the year.
