The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I recently got a job at a machine shop that forced me to move about an hour away from home. I love having 13 courses at my disposal but I can't really get too pumped about it not having anyone to play with. I've played a few mini's but how can I expect to do well when I don't like going out and playing alone...what's the best way to get to know the locals without looking like a noob. I'm not the best tosser but I can hold my own in ams. Help me out guys. I love to throw but I can't do it by myself...I need someone to bs with if ya catch my drift

I think most disc golfers are cool and will be happy to show you the ropes and hang out. Just find out when the weekly doubles are and enjoy!
I just go to the course and ask people if i can join them.
