RIT dye not working...

I'm trying to dye a disc for my wife for Mother's Day but the dye isn't taking.  Is anyone else having problems with this?

I buy the the pro dye from rite, in the 1lbs ....  it cost a little more and you have to order it online, but it seem to work good, and 1lbs last a long time.

i bet it does!! wow! a single powder box makes 32 oz. i use it over and over again...one box has lasted me over 30 dyes!
