Don't knock it til you've tried it.  Better than anything else I've tried.

Been working on my rollers everyday for the last three weeks. Should I be varying the type discs I use for RHBH rollers vs my forehand rollers? Using Vulcans, ArchAngels, and Teebirds.
Forehand shots of all types require discs with more stability, compared to backhand shots of the same type.
One has to appreciate classic R & R answers and whatever  you're rolling;>}

Discs with dome or no-dome?

For forehand rollers I use an Eclipse. Actually they work well for backhand too. I feel that the lip profile gives a good grip on the ground for cut rollers. The diameter of the disc is larger than most so it adds a "wheel like" advantage. I use max weight 180gm.

My best rollers have been with a Star Wraith, thrown overhand at an opposite 3/4 angle, if that makes sense.   I angle it so that the disc (in my RH) is coming from over the left side of my head, so when it gets the urge to turn like a tomahawk it simply straightens to 90 degrees and goes on a straight roll.  I've had really surprising consistency with this technique, aside from holes and bumps in the ground, had my longest drive by far too, 350'.  Would have rolled way the hell away but some tall grass stopped it.

Nobody uses the Roadrunner? I am about at the point where I might be adding rollers to my game and I always thought that disc was designed for it.
Roller disc have the same cararistics on the ground as in the air.
My rollers with the Roadrunner go off the right so far, I know I'm doing something wrong but I found a way to consistently get good, straight rollers with a Wraith.  I know the highly understable discs are the best rollers, but mine always roll right for some reason other than the flight numbers.
