I heard the boss is stiffer , un like the putters plastic
It's stiffer, but a bit to grippy for me. Can't say as I liked it much.
rpro boss is stiff, not like the dart. it is like a more flexible, grippy pro plastic disc. i like it alot. i'm not a big fan of the dart. too flimsy.
its not real floppy i threw a 150 boss r pro and it was a tough motha.im sure it will be slightly under not much though.
thanks guys, this is the "go to" site when someone has a disc golf questions
I already gave mine away, but I don't think they will last much longer than the pro plastic. Heck, I would bet it won't last even that long!
I throw both the R-pro boss and the aviar. I like them both. They have their place to be used. I think the R-pro plastic is a bit better than the pro plastic. It is grippier, but that just makes for a better grip.
I wish they would make an R pro rhyno, that would be awesome for driving, especially when it gets beat.
Yes, I bought one the other day ...145g it flies fast and straight and I really love it. I haven't got the hang of throwing it side arm but back hand its a real nice flier. As for the floppyness, its has too much rim to stable it. I have a dart too and I know what you mean, very felxable. Oh, and I was going to dye it ...it dosn't take the dye. It just wiped right off.
r pro is not durable in the least. worse than dx. but the r pro boss will fly for days.
hey i have a r-pro boss now. its a 144wt. that thing flies forever. as stated earlier, it flies uphill wonderfully. it has a few dinks on the edge now, and only used half a dozen times. so i dont believe it will last long either. i have short fingers and finally a speed 13 disc i can chunk. yahoo.
I personally think the R pro Boss is not bad. The main prob is that if thrown to hard they easily turn over and also if you hit a tree expect some major damage. The R pro Dart....not so much.
