The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I just came across a story of an 18yr old kid fresh out of high school that drowned while swimming in a pond retrieving lost disc from his local couse.  Very sad story....

This is very sad. I know the course well, and some of my friends have younger siblings that know this young man very well. The whole community is deep in shock.
My god that's tragic. I can't believe that happened up in Freeland.
That was one of Steady Ed's biggest concerns about this sport growing around water. Now it's a reality. What a shame. My condolences to Dennis' family and friends.
Yeah, that it was. No water hazards he said.
Up until this tragedy and as far as I know....no one has ever drowned looking for Discs.
Wow that sucks and is sad
bump
It is shocking enough for me that I don't know what to say.
