What ever happened to him? Is he still involved in discgolf?  For those who dont know about Sam Ferrans, this the only information I was able to find.I searched him on the PDGA site and he wasnt listed. If you know anything about him and would like to share it would be appreciated.

  • Sam Ferrans exploded onto the disc golf scene in 1984 when at the tender age of 16 he became the youngest player to ever win a PDGA World Championship
  • 1988 sets new world distance record with an INNOVA Phenix golf disc.

He does his best for Japanese Discgolf development.
He comes for Japan Open of this year.
I drove him from a hotel to the airport by the world championship of the last year.
It was the scene which was strange that a Japanese saw an American to the airport in U.S.A. (HaHaHa)
Thanks, that is pretty amazing!!
LOL... a friend of mine had something similar happen to her. She is probably in her early 60s and last year had a 20 yr old male say to her, "You must have been beautiful." He thought it was a fitting compliment to someone older who must have been beautiful when they were younger. She took it with a kind "thank you" and left it at that.
