The frantic e-mails from “Jerry Robbins in England” are a scam.  Don’t send money.  His e-mail account has been hijacked.

This means that the scammer knows the e-mail addresses of everybody Jerry ever contacted, so the scammer might be able to hijack our accounts also.  If you get an e-mail from a friend who claims he got mugged in a foreign country and can’t get home without an emergency loan from you, suspect fraud.  Don’t proceed unless you can talk to your friend on the phone.  Even then, ask him a question only he could answer, just to be sure.

Wow never heard of that happening to anyone I know yet but there's always a first. I played with Jerry a few times back in '06
Actually had a customer in my store who had a computer virus that seemed to come from this same type of e-mail. hmmm...
I am working with Interpool to get Jerry back home. Instead, Send all money to me. He is really tired of meals of blood sausage and tea. Let's get him home!
