Screen Printers AGAINST ZAZZLE.COM or CAFEPRESS.COM any of those sights that take money from local businesses!!

I have been in the textile industry for over a decade. It kills me to see people use these sights because it really hurts small businesses and the don't produce quality garments. I was wondering what other people thought?? Has anyone purchased shirts from these sites and regretted it?

Fully understand your reasoning.
Unfortunately it was going to happen.
When it cost $ to print any shirts, and someone wants just 1-6....
To set up a full color or manual press is too expensive....
How can you compete? That market is lost.
As an experienced artist in the field the "small" printers are going to start feeling the crunch.
Only those with low overhead or big accounts will survive.
Seen about 12 or so go out of business this past year alone.
Everyone is cheap!

America and Americans seem to be folding thier arms to globlization and its terrifying. There is a trickle effect of cheap goods that takes a while to hit but it hits hard. As a former auto worker I feel what your saying. I took a great deal of pride in my work and always went the extra mile in my work. I think, as a nation, we have become apethetic to eachothers well being and it spells doom for us and our way of life. Good luck Bro.
