Seal Skinz?? Are we for or against waterproof socks?

I was just offered the chance to start selling these waterproof socks at a pretty decent price and I was just wondering if anyone out there has a pair?? If do you love them or hate them. Please let me know. This will determine the quantity of my purchase.

I have a pair and they work great. They are a must for a disc golf in the early spring in the north.

Love 'em. The photo is a little misleading though. They will not keep your feet dry if you swim in them. However they will keep your feet dry during the morning warm-up and your first round in the dew-soaked grass.

But now prefer the goretex shoes better.
They breath.... your feet feel better.
Using Keen Waterproof & Merrells Goretex..
It's all about comfort.

Mine are not actually "Seal Skins"
But Gator Socks.... hence Florida Gators You know that football and basketball school of higher learning...

I have tried Seal Skins and Gortex socks. I thought the Seal Skins were ineffective and the Gortex socks were superb. Gortex socks are a bit more expensive and worth it.

The Seal Skins did not fit snugly and were therefore not as comfortable. They also tore out quickly and once the seams are gone so is the waterproofing.

I've had a pair for 15 years, and they are just now wearing out. Great $40 investment.
