Please share the one thing that has really made you a better putter. I am not looking for practice tips, resources on the web, or even what putter to use. I want to know what is it about YOUR putting routine, specificaly, that really made a difference for you.

Balance

Yes, balance is key, Inside the circle I balance most of my weight over my front foot, minnimizing movement and getting more control.

shifting my weight from my back foot to my lead foot as i putt tends to help with under throwing my putts

Taking your time, regardless of how long the putt. I've seen people walk up and miss 5 footers...I'm sure we've all done it. Having a basket helps a lot and like others have said, burn a hole in the chain link that you want to hit. I also raise my arm up and down a few times to make sure that my my right arm is directly in line with the pole. Stand there and visualize the shot then clear your mind and let go.

I just aim at the Pole and Go !!!! Maybe that's just me ?

Lip Up.
Put the front edge of the putter lip up on an angle.
The same angle that airplane wings have for lift.

By going to the straddle putt stance. Still use staggered from time to time or for jump putting. Also practice and having my own basket.
