Please share the one thing that has really made you a better putter. I am not looking for practice tips, resources on the web, or even what putter to use. I want to know what is it about YOUR putting routine, specificaly, that really made a difference for you.
Taking your time, regardless of how long the putt. I've seen people walk up and miss 5 footers...I'm sure we've all done it. Having a basket helps a lot and like others have said, burn a hole in the chain link that you want to hit. I also raise my arm up and down a few times to make sure that my my right arm is directly in line with the pole. Stand there and visualize the shot then clear your mind and let go.
Lip Up.
Put the front edge of the putter lip up on an angle.
The same angle that airplane wings have for lift.
