Should I add more outer chains to my homemade basket or a set of inner chains?

This is a picture of my homemade basket I have had for awhile.  It works good but still get those ones that just soar through the front and back chains and onto the ground.  So I want to know which you think will help more.  Adding 12 more chains on the same outside ring, or adding 12 on a new interior ring.  Adding inner rings is by far a much harder task but possible still if it is worth it.

Thanks

hang them on the outside and if it doesnt help, move them into the center. i like the look of your homemade basket

Thank you I am going to head to home depot and get some chains here in a bit.  I will post the results as soon as I finish it.

Great job!I'd try running them in the middle. That seems to be the standard. I've also seen the inner chain connected at varying spots (kind of like a zig zag pattern) to the outer chains. Stops spit outs, but it also makes the outer chains more rigid. So side chain hits that might normally drop in, end up deflecting out.
