The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Those of us who have the privilege to bomb discs at the Kensington tobbogan course look forward to it every year. We respect the privacy, great upkeep, and most of all, the challenge. What are the pros and cons of keeping this beautiful course open year-round?

One increase in likelihood is that the new (Just last month, I think.) director of Kensington is the former Hudson Mills director, who probably has a better appreciate of disc golf than the former one did.
Well isn't one problem of having it be permanent is that it's a Tobaggan run? Maybe only pull it down for the winter tho.
Yep, you are totally correct. At most this is a seasonal course.

The pros are too long for me to list :) . The cons are the garbage left everywhere and the expense of keeping it mowed and stuff.
I would love to see the toboggan become a permanent fixture, I think that a lot of would pay the extra to get the yearly park pass instead of the day pass to get into the metro park if the course was open year round. I know that at least three times a year we drive down there just to play the tunnel and I would personally drive there as many times as I could to play the toboggan. I mean what more could you ask for, It forces you to be better and make good decisions because if you don't you pay dearly on that course!.
