Hands down, Jason Southwick is the King of New England disc golf. He has worked tirelessly for years to bring the best that disc golf has to offer to the Northeast. He has been crucial to the creation of courses throughout MA and CT. He persistantly searches for parks and areas that could become courses and creates them there. He helps others create their courses, including schools. He has hosted countless tournaments which include many charity events.This past Fall he hosted a party in which everyone participated in building 18 temporary ( the way he started out) baskets ,ready to be placed in the next spot that becomes available. His efforts to grow the sport have no equal up here!
