Im sure this question has been posted before, but what are the best discs to use sidearm, because i suck at throwing forearm, to get MAXIMUM distance ! Currently my favorite is my 169 gm star wraith my max on that is around 385 ft, but I want more !!! I have destroyers, excaliabers, sl's, beast, orc, starfire, t-rex( thanks to all who gave me advice on my t-rex) raging inferno, crush..... and so on. I feel like I can put a lot more into my throws, are there any tricks or anything, or am I being a boner for wanting more ? Any suggestions ???

Gotta Love the Z Flick !
Star Boss is Sweet ! I'm throwing a 168 gram and its Overstable !
I would have to say a Champion Destroyer is by far the best distance sidearm disc I can throw, and I am a 50/50 sidearm/backhand thrower. After that I would say a CFR Wraith or the new Groove, if you really know how to get down on a sidearm, let the turn over slightly then they come back stable giving you the full flight and max distance in a sidearm.

And for a sidearm, I would rather burn a Z Flick then throw it.
i throw nothing but forehand and i would go with a destroyer star or champ.
i have a brother who can throw a champ or star destroyer over 450 ft also a
Groove will work alot the same as a destroyer.i like it alot too.Orcs are good.
i carry 5 of them but am slowly moving more and more to a destroyer and
groove combo.
If your getting 385ft throwing sidearm, that's great. You need to develop a backhand too.
1st Run Boss With At Least 400' And That Is A Sidearm.
If you want to throw it farther without improving your technique in some way; you have to get more movement out of the disc. Throw something really flippy on a hyzer and let it flip and dance, or something overstable on a big anhyzer flex. I can't throw sidearm quite as far as you guys; however, when I throw a crush or force I top out at about 300-310. When I use less stable discs such as an avenger or surge, I go up to 350-360. I throw them on a hyzer and let them flip up, turn, and then fade. This requires a more open hole, but you will have to alter your technique to throw farther with a laser shot.
It's not the disc, it's the form. Check out the Mark Ellis forehand video on Discraft.com. Mark has lost some D due to the ravages of old age, but he still knows HOW to throw. And, unlike a lot of forehand throwers, he still has an elbow. If you are throwing 385, you're throwing far enough to destroy your elbow if you are throwing with bad form.
Well your not doin to bad...I mean you made a hole in one for cryin out loud! Whoop whoop!!
Try the Groove.
Another Cool sidearm disc is the 168 gram Star Boss !!!
I have been a forehand thrower for over 9 years. I started with the Reaper, then moved to the star max witch was great, So then when the Excalibar arrived it became my favrite disc for the forehand. Its very fast and can reach distance over 350, 400 if you throw it hard enough. learn the Excaliber for best control and distance with the forehand. PRACTICE
