Srixon Have Success

Srixon have proudly announced that they have finished tied for second place in tour usage at the 2009 WGC-CA Championship. This is the first time which Srixon have had their golf balls finish in the number two sport at a PGA tour event. Srixon are making history and are looking to keep it that way.

PGA TOUR professionals Vijay Singh, Jim Furyk, SteveFlesch and Boo Weekley are using the latest Z Star ball and is now one of the most rapidly used balls by professionals. Tour victiories for the Z Star ball include Henrik Stenson in the 2 NedBank Golf Challenge and 2008 Omega Mission Hills World cup, as well as Tim Clarks win at the 2008 Australian.

I'm confused. What is the function of a golf BALL? Even if you threw one in the basket it would surely fall out.

If a golf BALL were made large enough to wedge in a basket then it would be roughly bowling BALL size. Now what kind of distance could someone throw a bowling BALL? Then imagine how large your bag would have to be to carry 16-20 BALLS of that size.
