The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

i have been playing for what will be five years at the end of 2009. My game has steadily improved for most of that time. recently i have stagnated in my development. i wasnt able to play any tournaments this year, and really dont plan on it for next year. i know this may contribute to my plateau. i still manage to get out and play a lot- 133 rounds so far this year on varying courses and a wide selection played regularly.

So i decided to start over--by working on the fundamentals. To start this process i have been practicing my putting more. This morning i went to a local short moderately wooded course and played the entire round with just my buzz and magnet. i was able to shoot -2. last time i played the course i shot even with all of my discs.

So the reason i post is to hear some suggestions on putting all the pieces back together and improving.

i plan on concentrating on throwing my roc and putters farther and smoother this winter since runups are usually not as easy in the snow and icy teepads it will be easier and less temping to disc up on some of my shots ,I had the chance to play and watch some NT touring pro's throw their rocs and putters this yr and admired how smooth and effortless their throws were and was told to throw my putters and rocs this winter .so hopefully i can improve next summer
Nice Call : So i decided to start over--by working on the fundamentals. Work on course management also.
Yeah it really is more consistent to cater the disc to the shot instead of the other way around (to a degree of course).

Update on my situation:

I have 3 KC Aviars, 3 Classic Rocs, 3 Flat Top Glow Rocs, and a Leopard in my bag now.. Hardly throw the leopard. Hardcore training time guys. :)
If you are fortunate enough to have Mark give you advise, I would give heed.
