The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
To start off, I throw RHBH. Ever since I started playing this game. I've always have had problems with my tailwind shots. As much and as hard as I try to keep the nose down. I still end up with a nose up flight. However, when I do get a nose down release. More often than not, I only get the disc up about 10 to15 feet at best. So there goes my wind advantage. Pre release, I make sure my hand/ grip is with the wrist bent down as much as possible. Still no luck. Now my disc sellection is one of these three. 165g Valk, 170g Sidewinder, and or a 170 Vision.
So aside from the standard X step and release. Do you alter, add, or do something different when you throw a tailwind shot?
Thanks and Peace!
