Tall Tom's Tee Sign Moving Day @ Irving Park DGC

Hey all you Irving Park DG regulars,

 

On Sunday May 23rd at 11:00 am we will be moving the tee signs on course away from the front of the teepads so no one will hit their arms on the posts.  If you'd like to help, we'd love to have you there and make Irving Park an even better place to play disc golf.  Afterwards, we'll throw a round to test out the new sign locations and then, probably, go have a beer.

Someone got hurt did they?

No one has been "hurt". A couple of busted knuckles and a bruise here or there, but no broken bones. Some of the bigger throwers have scraped the posts with their hands because the person who put the signs in had no concept of where they should have gone. We're moving them to prevent anything serious from possibly happening in the future, but thanks for your concern.

I see that a lot on courses. Contractors probably. Remember it from that course too. One course had signs in front with nail heads sticking out of the top!
