The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

So ive been an innova diehard since I started this sport about 9 monthes ago. But this morning I decided to go pick up a couple discraft disc's, a Z surge and pro D challenger and with my third throw I bombed the surge backhanded, i'm guessing about 450 ft over a soccer field like it was nothing and i have to crush my destroyers to get that kinda D. So now I am looking to pick up some more discrafts any suggestions? also I have a very strong forehand (450+ all day with my X-cal) and would like to find something similar stability wise........oh and that challenger is freakin bangin

Thanx

I can't believe I'm going to say this but today (sigh), I bought a roc. I know that people that know me are going to be shocked but yes I did it. Yesterday after leagues I was handed a roc, threw it and instantly fell in love. I've gone to the dark side.
get some heavy (180) non-domey ones, and you will see darth vader appear. Seriously. The emperor visited me when i received my completely-flat (no dome) Glow DX Roc @ 180 :) Love that disc.
Hmmm.. maybe the Force. Not sure if it's as stable. Not a big fan of their drivers, but they have some great fairway and mids.
The Flick is way overstable fairway driver. I only throw it in the 150 class. The Tracker is a nice disc as well. Kind of Teebirdish. In their mids I throw a Drone. Very overstable, but I play in the wind alot. I think every bag should have a Buzzz. It's a great disc. Very controllable. It's right up there with the Roc. In regards to "if you only could throw one disc"
You should go to the Discraft web sight and check their stuff out. Also Marshall Street has a great "flight rating" chart. SO you can compare the speeds and stability of all the discs.
Welcome to the mixed bag world! By the way...Luke I am your father....Nooooooooooooooooooo. To bad I throw like Yoda lol!!!
When it comes to throwing I think I am Yoda - without the force!
Nice toss on the Surge... it's my favorite driver! Though I don't have that kind of arm... Having a mixed bag is great, I throw alot of Discraft but I love my Monarchs, Teebirds and Leopards! Plus I also throw a Gateway Element, DGA Shockwave, Lat.64 Stiker and Millenium QJLS....

My bro flicks a Boss and XCal and wanted to try something from Discraft so I let him try my Pulse and though it wasn't as fast as he was used to he said he liked the way it flew.

And the Challengers are SICK putters... I throw CryZtal Z's and cannot stop buying them!
grab a buzzz ss and a wasp. i love my challengers. i have the midnight z plastic. i am also a big fan of the avenger ss. i've been toying with the idea of trying an avenger because someone on here said it was like an orc with more glide. i've thrown a surge before but it was years ago and i wasn't throwing nearly as far as i am now so maybe i should try one again. or am i just looking for excuses to buy plastic?
I throw my Banger GT around 490, so I don't even bother with drivers any more
WTF....you throw a putter nearly 500 ft??? or are we taking inches here...lmao.
Oh yeah.. Just kidding...
throw whatever makes you enjoy the game most
I bet you are going to say you throw a mini 400 too...LMAO.
No, I'm not Hosfeld!
