The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf
In the beginning I used to only worry about putting and how far I could throw the disc. After watching a tourtament hosted in Ocala, I started to ask some of the pros what I should concentrate on. I remember this skinny guy with a monster afro telling me "smooth is far. It doen't matter if you can throw 500+ft, but it does matter if you can throw 300ft accurately." Turns out the skinny kid was Nikko... Great advice.
good advice.this might of just answered the post discussion.
too many mind no good
i try to put less too
When you have a choice between two shots that are equal in risk, choose the shot you know better. Then go and practice the other shot until you feel just as confident throwing it.
Drive for show, puttputtputt for boge.
Learn how to throw rollers.
Reach back, then follow through.
best advice I've got , was to keep my wrist cocked all the way back from start to finish. That helped me keep the nose down and added up to better "D" off the tee. now if I could figure out what else I'm doing wrong....
