yes, mine is supper stable. Grip is great even when a little wet.
what does the XG stand for?
eXtra Grip
I beleive extra glide,the disc has a 6 glide instead of a 5.
Innova still rates the XG Boss the same as all other Bosses 13, 5, -1, 3. Some online retailers have their own ratings systems.
Ive never even seen them
Ive seen dgv list extra gummy boss and another site list extra glide boss both listed as boss XG this gets confusing
Some list it as extra grip too!
I believe DGV XG stands for "eXtra grippy". Maybe the same as extra gummy though.
I have thown the disc with mixed results. First of all the disc is supper grippy...Does any one remember the C.E. Valkaries that were supper flexable. The XG Boss is kind of like that. I don't think the disc is more stable per say, but it does seem to be straighter with alittle more resistance to high speed turn and alittle more fade at the end when it slows down. It does take some getting use to because it is easier to grip-lock this thing. All in all, when you get the throw off right this disc goes super far with nmaybe 75-85% effort at the most. I like the XG Boss because it is to the Champion Boss what the Flex Surge is to the ESP Surge. Enjoy the disc and throw far!!!
I have a 171 and I got a buddy of mine one also and they both turnover a lil bit compared to a normal champ or star boss. The disc is only available in CFR plastic. XG = Xtra Gummy. Great feel and flight to the disc. This disc is sweet and they should make it part of regular production.
I agree on the regular production. It flys the same for me as my other champ bosses, but it's a tacky gummy awesome feel for a disc. Get 10 of them.
