I can throw an average or 300ft or so and wondered if I should get the Equalizer for increasing distance of my drives. I'm think the red (medium) level one. Can't go to the gym, $$membership$$. Anyone out there use one before or recommend it? Or hate it? Don't want to spend 20 if it won't help.

i doubt it will help, just go out in a field and throw!
its all technique bud, throw throw and throw some mo
yea, when i started driving backhand i could throw about 150 ft. now, 2 or 3 months later, i can drive 350 on an open hole easy. one i got my technique down and became more comfortable with it, it was easy. oh, its about finding a right discs too.
i think the equalizer is a grip strengthening device. if that's the case then it would probably help enough to dish the 20 bucks for as long as you use it. plus your mind will be on whats really important more often.
Equalizers are rubber tubes (they come in different tensions) with a handle on one end and an attaching device on the other. It is a very good stretching and strengthening tool and made by Fred Salaz (great guy and golfer from Kentucky).

Like all gym equipment it works better the more it is used.
I have a couple "power tubes" they are basically the same thing. I have a 15 and 20 pounder. I use them in conjunction with working out on my Bowflex every morning. I don't know that it has added alot of distance but I do know that I used to hurt after a good day of chuckin' and sometimes strain and sprain things out of the blue. I have been working out for @ 2 years now and have noticed that I can play alot longer and have not hurt anything in nearly a year.
go to walmart and buy tubing same thing look up the excises for them online
Bought my power tubes from dicks, they cost @ 14 bucks each. They are nice also because I have been traveling quite a bit for my job lately and I can take them with me to get somewhat of a workout in rather that just doing without. I have snapped a couple of them but so far Dicks has replaced them for free. I may be overstretching them with my backhand exercise.
