So recently I was playing a round with a very good friend who is probably the best putter I know and by far the best in our area and noticed that he had switched putter after using his old putter since I met him many years ago. The putter that he is now using is a Woodchuck and is by far the softest putter I have ever seen, when I asked him why he had switched he told me that when throws a low put (which believe me is hardly ever, 98% of his shots inside 40ft always drop) it tends to bounce off, but when he uses the Woodchuck it will literly flip over the top or go right through the side of the basket. I have to tell you its the craziest thing I have ever seen, I throw JK Aviar X 4x's and they are noted as one of the softest putters made, but the Woodchuck is literally like throwing pizza dough. I know one other person who uses these and I've heard players complain that he has an unfair advantage after being beaten in a round by a putter that seems to will itself into the basket. This is what the company has to say: "Made from our new super grip flex plastic, this disc is one of the most flexible disc golf discs in the world! Its ability to absorb impact with the chains or fold increases your chances of a successful putt and
if you miss, it doesn't roll away!" It is a PDGA approved disc and is available for anyone to buy and believe it or not its no more expensive than any other putter, so what do you think Woodchuck fair or not?
