The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Hey all you golfers,
Just wondering if anyone has seen, heard of, or, like myself, got a chance to play the new Innova Katana. It has a rating of 13:5:-3:3 and is a sick super flippy, fast disc. It has been described as a "Sidewinder" on steroids. I myself think is more of a super fast, super long, "Beast". It can start to flip out 300+ feet. Right now it is unreleased from Innova, but is available through certain dealers as promotion for the Japan Open 2010. It's available, for limited time, and in limited quantities, in Champion, Pro, and R-Pro plastic. Check it out if you can!!!

It is a story unlike the performance of Disc.
At first please come to Japan Open 2010.
We welcome you.
It is a design of The New Innova Katana (kah-tah-nah) to be interested with me.
It is a very Nipponian design, but do all of you like such a design?
We also have them at www.lsdiscs.com. I've head that the champion is flippy but not as flippy as a sidewinder and the pro version is similar to a beat in boss.
So far the champion ones I have received are very much like my champion boss. if they were not different color I could not tell them apart, both in the hand and in the air. was hoping for some more S curve from this one!
Sounds like a nice disc, but I'll wait till the GREED factor comes down before I buy one.
I figured this one would be just like the Groove or the Boss, I've heard it is pretty overstable from ones that I know that have thrown it. Maybe it is better in a different plastic, champ always seems to be retardedly overstable. The cool thing is once they break in....they stay that way forever....
I bought a champion 174 and it flies like a boss mixed with a sidewinder. Can anyone tell me if this disc is already PDGA approved???
That is my understanding.
I like the way it turns so late in flight. It is a lot like my Star "Boss", but flips like a "broken in" Destroyer, but with more dependablility. The Champion is a lot different then my Champion "Groove". I think the Pro is just as stable as the Champion. I don't know if has been PGDA approved or not, but Innova knows what it's doing. I do agree that, for now, they are a little pricey, but I think they're trying to promote the Japan Open. We'll have to see once they are released, officially. I know, as with most other discs, every golfer has different styles and I just happen to like this one, so far. I would still like to hear more input. Thanks,

I threw mine a bunch today and it seemed to travel to the basket faster than any other disc I have thrown. A few of my friends have thrown it and like it. Nice roller too.
