The One, but which one?

So one of my boss' thinks it might be a fun team building idea. That is, to bring the staff out to a course and play a round or two of disc golf (doubles or even foursome best shot). So, none of these people have ever played before. So I thought we should just play with one disc and only one (except for me;). The question is...which one? I was thinking either the Shark or Cro would be a good all around disc, but before I buy a bunch of discs. I thought I'd see what the rest of you think would be a good multi purpose disc for a bunch of noobs that are just going to go out and have some fun for the day.

Shark or Roc would do the job. if you wanted to give them a driver a Leopard would be a good place to start.

Well of your going to buy them you can get the stratus pretty cheap and they'll fly nice and straight for newbies.

Well I'll be purchasing them, but not with my money ;) Still, DX or D plastic is the most likely choice.

Cobras a good idea, Do you think large or small diameter makes a difference.As far as easier to throw?

I think that is a preference thing more than it is a "easier" thing to be honest...at least from my point of view.

I think a brand new DX Roc or KC would be too stable for a newbie and two rounds. A Buzzz is straighter out of the box. I think you'd want to stay below a 4 or 5 speed disc on the understable side in DX or D plastic.

Cobra is:
beginner friendly/forgiving
can be driven 250-300 with ease
great low power mid/approach/finesse disc
ok putter

We did this for my buddies bachelor party. He ended up getting everyone Cyclones...stratus...and Buzz. They all were able to throw them...all except one buddy who didn't want to be there. (previously night binge) good luck with it. Sound like a fun experiment.

DX Stingray is highly recommended for newbies.
More forgiving and breaks in for better performance.
The other discs are just gonna fly off left for them...too overstable.
Stick to lower weights too...not 180 grams until they have some snap and torque.
Even a few 150 Class stingrays for the slower arm speeds with no snap.

A max. weight champion Boss. That was an obviously a joke, try a Dx shark or Pro d Buzzz. They are easy to find. In the long run, the disc won't really matter. If and when your co-workers get hooked they at least will will have a starting point to work with. Any one that has the time to burn calories and doesn't want to look like a lab rat their whole life will at least appreciate the consept of disc golf if not the sport itself.
