Below is a line drawing map and final hole lengths.

All 24 holes have baskets and concrete pads! Best bet is to print a map before you go, the club is still working on signage. Most baskets have one or two spokes painted blue (pointing to next blue tee) or white (pointing to next white tee).

After Hole two you can either move (right to play 18) to Hole 3 or (left to play 24) to Hole A. If you go to A, then you play A-F and rejoin at 3, for 24 holes.

Ok guys. I spent a few hours out there picking up dead branches today. Ben, Terry, Its going to be awesome out there. I cant wait to throw a full round. When I drove by a few weeks ago and was only able to see stuff from the road, well that was only part of the beauty. Like I said I cant wait to throw on some of them holes. Hole 13 long I might wait on but shorts I'll try to start with. Lol. I wish I could be back out tomorrow but have plans with the family. Keep up the great work and see you out there some time.
Oh yeah Bill. After what I saw today I would not object to moving mayhem to Lakeshore. LOL.
Status- 35 cement tees poured. 90% of tee sign posts in. 1 basket collar installed. 90% of tree work complete.

Please do not attempt to play until it is officially open in about a week or so. Pics to come.
Ben they formed the 5 remaining holes, 6 tees to pour and they are planning on doing it monday morning starting at 9AM unless it is raining heavily.
A, 3 both, 13 Short, 12, 9 short

Ben are those the corrected lengths or still the old ones?? 8 longer, C short is shorter, 16 long is like 12' shorter., and you moved 17's pin a little shorter. Those are the only changes i remember.
sounds about right
The grand opening of this course will be May 3! Here is the content of an email message that a3disc club president Bill Gilbert has sent out:

Sunday May 3rd at noon, the newest 24 hole course in Washtenaw County will hold its grand opening. This course was funded by A3 and the property owner,

The Course will be called the Ponds at Lakeshore, built on private property located on the East side of Ypsilanti at the Lakeshore Apartment complex. A3 has paid for the baskets and associated hardware, while the property owner paid for the concrete and labor to install everything.

William Gilbert approached the property owner about the course and easily passed the idea through. Terry, Ben Sheila Calhoun as well as input from other play testers designed the course.

We should have pictures and newspaper coverage from the Ann Arbor News. People will be able to play the course. Hopefully the tees signs will be at least temporarily painted with information. permanent signage is in the works.

Prizes to be given away.

We are really hoping for the largest turnout we can get. The property is free to enter, but you must go through the security station and show id to go to the course!!

Dogs on Leashes are welcome, if you clean up after them.
Beer & Wind should be allowed but not at the opening.
Trash cans will probably not be on the course in time for the grand opening.

Please come on out, bring all your friends spread the word. You never know you might get your picture in the paper!?!?

See you there.
With help from Tim Pillsbury we got all 18 of the baskets I was given welded and stickers put on Sunday. My brother Ryan Graham helped Bill Gilbert deliver the said welded baskets to the ponds. from what I understand they should be ready for install some time this week. cant wait for this course to go in. Rain rain go away so we can pour some more concrete.
no the baskets will not be going in this week next week at the soonest. The sleeves have not been put in except 1 yet.

Its all good garrett, your work is greatly appreciated and tim's and ryans for getting the baskets welded and transported to the course.
Update: All collars, tee posts, tee pads installed. Only 1 basket 'in the ground' and some tree work still needs done, if you would like to help contact me for that thanks.

The back side, if you print them back to back on the same sheet, have the driving direction map and the course layout for your convince. Grand opening May 3rd - bring your score card and your game
Thursday 10 Am. I'll be working out there. Contact me to help or play.
