Thinking Outside the Basket

I am interested in what other disc golfers think about or do when not playing disc golf. The objective is to find others that have similar interests in addition to playing in disc golf. For example, if I found out that someone else liked disc golf, ham radio and chess - I may want to exchange Ideas with that person or maybe even play disc golf with that person ! I have other interests - collecting stamps / post cards, video, photography, writing, computer programming, areodynamics / physics of discs, sports psychology, economics and electronics . So are there any hits out there - that is, people who are interested in many of the above items. Send in your "lists" to this discussion and see if there are matches.

Besides disc golf my "other" favorites include Geocaching, Astronomy, Fly Fishing, Duck Hunting, Video Gaming, Casino games, & Breasts.

George RR Martin, yes!! I love "Song of Ice and Fire" and "Wild Cards"! (both book series if you didn't know), so that makes me a reader too. I like to jump genres though. Sci-fi and fantasy got me back into reading as an adult, but I'm reading more modern fiction--like Dave Eggers, TC Boyle--and mysteries--like James Lee Burke. I also write fiction and poetry, play guitar and harmonica (not well...yet), and tie dye. I enjoy being artistic.

I am sure it does after you put the right transmission. Of course I don't need to put chris' s engine in. That's why he has a monkey, I mean you. Now we better get off this page before people start to get annoyed. A for my blazer, I didn't blow it up. It was letting people like you work on it. But hey I got a new truck and a real mechanic to put a new engine in it for free. What more could you ask for. remember you have to be 2% smarter than what you are working on, so why don't you start on some lincoln logs. You can call me if you need help. I mastered them before I was 4. lol

I play just a handful times a year. They keep messing with the rules concerning the glue and pip length and ball size. I used long pips on the backhand and really sticky fast stuff on the forehand with a Gergley Carbon when I was competing back in the 80s-90s. Loop drive, loop drive, loop drive. Great sport.
