My left shoulder has been giving me problems, so I haven't been throwing at all. Today I decided to go out and throw righty. Anyone else try throwing with their opposite hand for a whole round. I figure I'd rather throw bad righty than not throw at all.

It will 'help' your handicap!
I have played a few entire rounds lefty.  I have had decent success as well.  It is a good thing to learn in case of injury during a tournament.  My flick is not very consistent so I am actually trying to be better at left handed for some of the shots that go right.  I have been training myself to be ambidextrous for a couple of years in other sports that I play.

I played lefty for a month when I hurt my right hand.  I had trouble with a few things.

1 - Could not get putts nose down to save my life

2 - Any anhyzer became a huge griplock/roller.

3 -Much less power (duh)

My right wrist is a mess,arthritis is the least of many problems.My drives lefty are horrendous,but I try when righty drives are in pain.My short game has improved,putting seems more natural.

Drives = no distance

Upshots = pretty good actually

Putting = really bad at the beginning, not much better by the end of the 2nd round

Take your shoes off next.

Fling a disc with your toes?

i had a friend that broke his arm and took up the leftie mode ..... he played really well left in the end just a matter of retraining your brain he said ..... i didn't think it could be done but he proved me wrong
I have only thrown a few left hand, and not to long ago. I was kinda thinking about trying it out some more myself. I used to go bowling a lot, right hand I was over 200 every game and left hand around 160, which is not bad at all! Left handed I could always pick up my spare on the right side of the lane. Makes me think I should try it out some more.
I try to throw off handed frequently for my back. I get real tense throwing right handed all the time and throwing a good left handed shot tweaks it back and reminds the other muscles that I still need them.
