What's the point of DNF'ing a pdga round just to not 'hurt' your rating? What is the point of having a rating if it doesn't rate you for all your rounds played, good or bad. Your rating becomes irrelevant. For someone who doesn't do that- they get cheated out of a better rating by not getting to beat someone with a higher rating sometimes due to them quitting the round or throwing their score so high to make it not count in the ratings. That is how it works right Chuck?

My rating just went up 11 points, first update since 2007, and I don't 'throw' my rounds away.

I don't understand the ratings and never will try to. I hope if I'm ever rated, no one tells me the #. Hey, thats an awesome Van Halen stamp. I used to have a black wizard with that stamp, but lost in the thick wooded stuff.
