Time Warp - Disc Golf on Discovery?

Time Warp: Have you guys seen this program on Discovery Channel? They video sports and other things at super slow motion. Tonight they showed a skater doing a 360 kick flip, and it looked amazing at that speed.

They are looking for new show ideas and invite you to visit their site to give them some ideas. There is a thread started about Disc Golf, and I was hoping some of you would visit their site and support the idea of them featuring this for one of their upcoming show ideas. So if you have a few minutes, please visit this link and let them know you like the idea - this would be good for the exposure of our sport

I saw the show for the first time yesterday and I truly amazed. How cool would it be to watch a 360-power drive in super-slo-mo, I want to get on that show really bad.

Please go on the Discovery website and suggest to them about doing a show on Disc Golf. We can make this happen.

It would be great exposure for the sport.

I just began brain storming this concept and there is a ton of onformation out on the web of proff of concept. I'm not exactly sure what the shows producers are looking for. What can we do to persuade them to take on this challenge over any other?

I think Avery is a great poster boy for dg to be on that show. His idea of a 360 spin drive would be great, disc deflection when it hits a solid object, possibly an overhead view of a release point snap. There are so many things in this sport that would make a good clip. They usually show a few different scenarios for each sport/activity that they do so more than likely anything they picked would be interesting to see.

I was just watching that show tonight and me and my friends were commenting on how sweet it would be if the did have disc golf on it. Great minds think alike!!

As soon as I saw the guy chucking rocks sidearm the thought crossed my mind. DISC GOLF IN SLO-MO!!! Avery would be a great person to represent us, seeing as how he can crush them better than just about anyone.
The skater was cool as @#$%! I used to skate and just like the guy on there, never knew that your feet come off the board. Plus the 360 kickflip was awesome. You only get to see those in real time and they are just a blur. To actually see what the board does was the coolest thing ever.

Very cool. Two different discussions on the same topic. This would be awesome for disc golf. I'm going to go back in and see if I can rate it now.
