The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Have you ever played TooBee Golf? I just found this article about the TooBee. Disc-Golf Legend, Ralph Williamson has apparently enjoyed playing TooBee golf as somthing a little different and still fun like disc golf. They are around $15 for two of them with a protective case. The profit goes to a good cause, they are a "green" toy 100% recyclable, and have a lifetime guarentee. Does it get any better? Just thought I might give it a try for somthing different, maybe it could be a new PDGA class. LOL!.... Just kidding. But seriously read the article, it's a cool toy.

"Ultimately, I want Toobee to be able to make a difference in society. To bring about positive change.” Stromberg added. In keeping with that goal, 100% of all profits go to select children's charities worldwide. One such charity is Canned Water4Kids [www.cannedwater4kids.org] a charity working hard to ensure clean, safe water for children worldwide

thats cool, i wanna be the first kid on the block w/ toobee's
I first saw them over 25yrs ago when RB Clark in KY had made one out of a beer can. They were a blast to throw around. Lots of glide, but not real long on distance. I haven't tried for years, but it you remove the can top while leaving the top lip, and cut the can in half, you can make one.
283' isn't bad distance for a hollow beer can. I have seen similiar things like it before, just never thought about going out to the course and playing a round with it from the shorts, maybe bet a little money with some friends see who wins.
Now....that's different! I wonder if there's any youtube video's yet?
