The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

I have a theory that big tourney plastic is of higher quality and more true to the mold than off the shelve plastic.I throw my tourney plastic and have bought some wall hangers that throw way better than the same disc i bought off the shelf. What do you guys think?

I agree. Some have mentioned that they do use there "better" plastic when they make CFR discs. On top of that, I find that the molds are more true. I bought several CFR Destroyers and they all have the same flight characteristics. I think it's due to the fact they are only making a handfull of discs, not a few thousand.
Custom stamped discs are only better if you BELIEVE them to be better.
Each run can/will be a lil different. I don't think tourney stamps are specifficly better but the z drones were some pretty plastic and the players cup usually has some nice stuff too.
Its the Placebo theory. I think my discs play better when they are dirty as can be. But "know" that clean debris free plastic is more aerodynamically sound. Its all in my head
I BELIEVE they are way more consistent in their flight characteristics.
Throw all plastic or give it away to somebody who will; plastic was not meant to be a wall decoration...
looks like a duck, sounds like duck, must be a duck............they fly the same........
Sorry guys, I have to dissagree. Why is it that you hear how differnt the same disc flies. Flat top this or domey that. Look at some of the posts about the Nuke. They are all over the place, but when they talk about the Lemon Lakes Nuke. Every post I've read. Says the same thing about the disc, and that is, they all fly the same (overstable).
I don't have to pay for plastic since my sponsor gives me what I need for free.....so all discs from tourneys were either wall hangers or resold.
