In a tournament who's job is it to add up the score after the round is complete.
I have heard all are accountable for their score, but does that mean that each person
adds up their own score or is it the responsibility of the person keeping score at that time.

There is no one whose "job" it is to add up the scores. If your score is added up wrong you get a 2 stroke penalty regardless of who added it up so make sure your score is right before your card gets turned in.
Most definatly, but there might be donators out there just making it easy.
Add up your own total, have others couble check it. Score keeping during the round only entails writing down what number players tell you. You are responsible for the total and accuracy. You used to have to sign/initial all cards, and though that's not required anymore, a lot of players still do. I f' d up last tournament (again) and got my score corrected up one from 1st round and penalized 2 more for the error. Didn't know it until the second (of 2) round, and took a 6 on the first hole. Out of the money. D'OH! Again! It's the third time it's happened in a tournement. Double check every hole and the total, then check someone else's.
Wise advise.
