The Community of Disc Golfers and About All Things Disc Golf

Hey all, just wondering how everyone is liking the coverage done at Tupelo Bay with the "Live Feel" coverage. Personally, I really enjoy seeing the different production styles that are being tried out for video coverage of our growing sport. Of course, for those that don't play the sport and don't visit courses to see what it is we do out there, video coverage is the only way for the general public to see and experience the mechanics of Disc Golf.
There has not yet been a forum opened by the Disc Golf Network team that developed the Tupelo Bay coverage, but I'm sure they would love some of our feedback on the production and style of their work. In addition, I'm sure they would appreciate "constructive" comments from those that want to see our sport show-cased in the most professional and exciting way!

I watched the first 2 or 3 and really liked it. this is the stuff I would love to watch!!
Very entertaining disc golf coverage on some really beautiful courses.

Be sure to check it out.
Definitely cool to see the great disc golf coverage..and in HD as well. I like the manufacturers logo markers in the bottom left and the hole layouts before they drive off the tee. I only watched the first video of 7 but I loved what I saw. I'd love to play at a course with carts as well.. something I still haven't done yet. Very well put together though.
This coverage of PDGA events will be something to look forward to for upcoming PDGA events throughout the 2009 Tour Season. I am glad that you enjoyed.
When I first started playing disc golf back in August I looked at threads like this and laughed and the silly people who for one watch these videos and for two go buy this stuff. Now, 4 months later I can't get enough, buy, watch on youtube, just can't get enough disc golf. I can't wait to see PDGA A tiers on TV.
Disc Golf on TV is the future of the sport. The only real way we're going to climb into peoples living rooms. Force feed them the game if we have to. I think that until the 8 year old kids are pulling at there grandma's shirt wanting to go Disc Golfing....We're not going to really have anything to tand on. It's all about the kids in the game lets get some more youth and Video coverage. Peace

the clips are great. But like in any sport, the announcers need to keep it interesting and the ones for Tupelo did a pretty good job. Two thumbs up.
